The Secret Chamber
UNIVERSITY ASSIGNMENT
For this assignment, we were told to purposefully designed projects-tasks to kick-start the ideas-to-reflection-to-ideas process. All submitted assignments at this course were part of the semester portfolio. This portfolio included all our semester courses projects at the University of West London. We were idea-makers, clients and designers in charge. About the project - Secret Chamber is a library like a centre for kids and adolescents to spend their free time, read or to learn. The Identity included complementing colours, target appealing illustrations and collectable bookmarks. Especially bookmarks were so much fun to make. The Bookmark idea - To motivate kids to read books I have created a system of collectable bookmarks. Each month kids visiting the centre and renting a book received bookmarks of the month. Every week new bookmark was presented - after collecting all four bookmarks and placing them in the right order an illustration is created. The theme of illustrations is always a famous children book story.
